PERSONAL ASSISTANT

Avenue 32 is looking to find a PA to provide administrative and secretarial support to the Founder/Managing Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Diary management, ensuring managing director is well prepared and informed for all meetings and confidentiality is maintained at all time.
  • UK and overseas travel arrangements, including the booking of flights, hotels and taxis.
  • Organisation and minute taking of meetings, when required.
  • Monitoring, responding and distributing incoming communications (phone, email, post, etc).
  • Supporting the director and the PR/marketing department with sample call-ins for key events and photo shoots.
  • General administration including expenses, maintaining office systems, filling, etc.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience working as a Personal Assistant .
  • Experience of managing diaries .
  • Experience of booking UK and overseas travel.
  • Knowledge of MS Office programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • A proactive approach with excellent organisational, time management and planning skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and interact at all levels.

DIGITAL DESIGNER/FRONT-END DEVELOPER

Avenue 32 is looking for a Digital Designer/Front-End Developer to join the growing Ecommerce team. Reporting into the Head of Ecommerce, the Digital Designer/Front-End Developer will be responsible for supporting Ecommerce and Digital Marketing with designing and coding assets, to be used across desktop, mobile & tablet, email marketing and affiliate sites:

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Design and code weekly e-mail newsletter campaigns, using 3rd party email provider.
  • Design and implement site updates to banners on landing pages across all relevant devices and regional sites.
  • Update on-site content on a regular basis using HTML and CSS (via the CMS) and ensure all site content meets usability standards.
  • Produce advertising display banners, including those for affiliate sites, using HTML5.
  • Create ad hoc landing pages and features to support content marketing campaigns.
  • Suggest new design opportunities, developing and coding new templates to be used across email and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Design and implement A/B test creative using 3rd party partner.
  • Create engaging creative for regular digital marketing competitions.
  • Support ad hoc projects.
  • Keep abreast of competitors and the latest industry developments, championing digital design innovation.
Skills and Experience required:

  • Creative, detail-orientated and self-motivated, with a good understanding of site usability.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver CS5/6.
  • Solid experience of writing clean HTML, CSS and Javascript.
  • Experience in designing and coding email marketing campaigns, plus digital display advertising.
  • Experience of using DoubleClick Studio would be beneficial.
  • Experience in using ecommerce content management systems (CMS).
  • Ability to debug and resolve any cross-browser and device issues.
  • Ability to take direction and interpret briefs accurately and to deadlines, with a disciplined approach to processes.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • A desire to work in ecommerce fashion.
  • 2+ years as a front-end developer/digital designer, retail experience is a plus.
  • Experience designing and coding for desktop, tablet, and mobile with an understanding of responsive design.
  • Must have a portfolio that shows a range of versatile design and responsive design.

EDITORIAL INTERNSHIP


Avenue 32 is looking for an Editorial Intern. This internship role will include helping our Fashion & Editorial Assistant to prepare for shoots, liaise with PR companies and efficiently complete pulls and returns. It will also include assisting the Editorial Team with the creation of content for our Social Media platforms, designer bio's and fashion features along with general administrative duties.

Applicants must be proactive, organized, detail-oriented, creative, professional, and have a positive attitude.

The successful candidates will need to have a strong interest in fashion or a fashion-related degree, have accomplished written English skills, and great organisational skills. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign would be beneficial and strong IT skills are essential. Above all, candidates need to be hardworking, enthusiastic and have a great eye for detail; they must be able to handle multiple tasks at once and work well under pressure.

CLIENT SERVICES INTERNSHIP

Avenue 32 is looking for a full-time, fixed-term Client Services Intern to be based at our West London Head Office.

This role sits at the centre of the organisation as a high-profile, customer-facing liaison between the Buying Team; Logistics; Client Development and Customer Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Client Services team with general tasks and admin support.
  • Working on the order system to process customer orders.
  • 'Walking’ Customer orders through to completion.
  • Providing crucial style and outfit co-ordination advice to customers.
  • Liaising with the warehouse team and courier companies.
  • Facilitating customer returns.

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication skills and strong command of English.
  • IT competency: particularly Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written skills.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Personable, approachable and articulate.

BUYING & MERCHANDISING INTERN

We are looking for an astute Buying and Merchandising intern to join our fashion team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the buying and merchandising team with general tasks and admin support
  • Assisting the BAA and Assistant Buyer with managing the product inventory
  • Creating reports / data analysis as and when required
  • Completing in season buying analysis with the merchandiser
  • Completing any other ad-hoc tasks required from buying team; such as trend analysis, competitor research, calling in samples/imagery, booking trips/tickets, managing contacts or liaising with designers alongside the BAA

Skills and Experience

  • Studying related course/relevant industry experience
  • Strong trend analysis for Buying
  • IT competent - particularly Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent written skills
  • Excellent numeracy
