DIGITAL MARKETING INTERNSHIP

Avenue 32 is looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to support the Ecommerce team.

Responsibilities:

Shadowing and reporting into the Junior Digital Marketing Manager, you will assist with executing the digital marketing strategy across a number of online marketing channels. Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the creation of email marketing campaigns, from conception through to build, testing, broadcast and analysis. Produce visually merchandised product stories to fit email templates, incorporating hero product recommendations from the Buying and Editorial teams.
  • Liaising with external agency to ensure teams are fully aware of new collections, brands and products for digital marketing activity.
  • Proofing all PPC campaigns before go-live.
  • Ensure all meta data and redirects are regularly updated for SEO.
  • Assist at SEO events.
  • Conducting user experience tests before UX a/b testing new launches.
  • Competitive benchmarking in terms of digital marketing activity.
  • Focus on data analysis with creation of weekly analytical reports (training will be provided).
  • Ad hoc duties within the Ecommerce team.
Skills and Experience

  • This role will suit someone with good communication and analytical skills, with an eye for fashion.
  • Experience working with an ecommerce environment preferred.
  • Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
  • Training on the site CMS, FTP and Excel will be provided.

MARKETING & PR INTERNSHIP

Avenue 32 is looking for an astute Marketing & PR intern to join our Marketing team..

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with press sample requests.
  • Liaising with PR agencies (London and New York) on a daily basis.
  • Assisting the Marketing & CRM Manager with general tasks and admin support.
  • Assisting our social media strategy.
  • Creating reports / data analysis as and when required.
  • Completing any other ad-hoc tasks; such as competitor research and analysis, calling in samples/imagery, managing PR contacts and liaising with designers.
Skills and Experience

  • Studying related course/relevant industry experience.
  • Previous experience within Marketing & PR.
  • Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
  • IT competent – particularly Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.

VISUAL MERCHANDISING INTERNSHIP

Avenue 32 is looking for a Visual Merchandising Intern to support the Ecommerce team.

Shadowing and reporting into the Content Manager, this is a creative role encompassing a variety of responsibilities across online visual merchandising.

Responsibilities:

  • Use the Content Management System to ensure all product is fully optimised for cross selling opportunities. Work with the company’s VM strategy to ensure all new product has a full range of ‘Complete the Look’ and ‘You May Also Like’ styles to maximise product exposure and incentivise sales. .
  • Update the Cross Selling tracker to ensure that products are kept up to date with relevant cross selling and Sale products are removed in a timely manner.
  • Assist in all aspects of new product content lifecycle, from content uploads through CMS and FTP to support product going live to ensuring product is optimised into all relevant categories on site, working with VM colour matrices to ensure colour stories are maintained.
  • Assist studio liaison to ensure product imagery is turned around as fast as possible and is accordance with the Avenue 32 Style Guidelines.
  • Assist Visual Merchandising of seasonal Trend Pages and Boutiques.
  • Collaborate with the Editorial team and Digital Marketing team to support homepage editorials and emails with commercial shopping pages or ‘Shop the Stories’. Navigate the CMS to develop and optimise these new pages and categories.
  • Maintain the Press Tracker for featured product and react regularly to Press featured pieces, optimising in relevant categories.
  • Assist content management of all designer pages, helping to ensure all designer content is updated to the correct season, in line with new product going live. Assist visual merchandising of designer pages, ensuring product is separated by season and the VM is in keeping with both the company’s VM strategy and the designer’s aesthetic and supporting lookbook/show imagery
  • Assist Visual Merchandising of ‘What’s New’ section twice weekly with new product to the site.
  • Shadow the Ecommerce Assistant and be able to act in her place during holidays and sickness.
  • Support the Content Manager and Ecommerce Assistant with additional ad hoc requests for all departments.
  • On an occasional basis, you may also be required to collaborate with the Ecommerce Assistant on product pick and VM to support email marketing.

EDITORIAL INTERN

Avenue 32 is looking for an Editorial Intern. This internship role will include helping our Fashion Assistant to prepare for shoots, liaise with PR companies and efficiently complete pulls and returns. It will also include assisting the Editorial Team with the creation of content for our Social Media platforms, designer bio's and fashion features along with general administrative duties.

Applicants must be proactive, organized, detail-oriented, creative, professional, and have a positive attitude.

The successful candidates will need to have a strong interest in fashion or a fashion-related degree, have accomplished written English skills, and great organisational skills. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign would be beneficial and strong IT skills are essential. Above all, candidates need to be hardworking, enthusiastic and have a great eye for detail; they must be able to handle multiple tasks at once and work well under pressure.

CLIENT SERVICES INTERNSHIP

Avenue 32 is looking for a full-time, fixed-term Client Services Intern to be based at our West London Head Office.

This role sits at the centre of the organisation as a high-profile, customer-facing liaison between the Buying Team; Logistics; Client Development and Customer Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Client Services team with general tasks and admin support.
  • Working on the order system to process customer orders.
  • 'Walking’ Customer orders through to completion.
  • Providing crucial style and outfit co-ordination advice to customers.
  • Liaising with the warehouse team and courier companies.
  • Facilitating customer returns.

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication skills and strong command of English.
  • IT competency: particularly Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with system implementation.
  • Produce month end account and reports.
  • Assist with year-end account.

Skills and Experience

  • Part qualified or QBE.
  • At least 10 years’ experience; able to use a manual system.
  • Excellent in excel.
  • Balance sheet reconciliation experience.
  • Excellent Accounting skills.
  • SAPbydesign experience will be an advantage but not required.

We are looking for an astute Buying and Merchandising intern to join our fashion team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the buying and merchandising team with general tasks and admin support
  • Assisting the BAA and Assistant Buyer with managing the product inventory
  • Creating reports / data analysis as and when required
  • Completing in season buying analysis with the merchandiser
  • Completing any other ad-hoc tasks required from buying team; such as trend analysis, competitor research, calling in samples/imagery, booking trips/tickets, managing contacts or liaising with designers alongside the BAA

Skills and Experience

  • Studying related course/relevant industry experience
  • Strong trend analysis for Buying
  • IT competent - particularly Excel, Outlook
