Alexander Wang’s extraordinary rise to the top of fashion is unprecedented. After leaving California for New York aged 18 to study at Parsons, the Taiwanese-American interned at Marc Jacobs, Teen Vogue and Derek Lam. Dropping out of school to launch a cashmere sweater line, his refreshing aesthetic pieces caught the attention of fashion buyers and press alike, and he debuted his namesake label and first womenswear collection in 2007.

Season after season of critical and commercial success, numerous awards, additional menswear and kids lines, and his appointment as French fashion house Balenciaga’s creative director in 2012 has cemented Wang’s place in fashion history.

T by Alexander Wang, the diffusion line launched in 2009, simply extends Wang’s effortless aesthetic whilst focusing on luxury basics using the same premium fabrics as his mainline collection.
