Avenue 32 are currently looking for a Junior Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance Team.

This is the ideal role for someone who wants to develop their financial Accounting skills in a small Team and gain an insight into the entire accounting processes of a fast growing business.


• Verify and review all invoices and insure the approval prior to payment.

• Allocate the invoices to the correct periods, accounts and cost centers

• Posting invoices / transactions / accruals in Sage 50 Accounts

• Plan and prepare weekly / monthly Supplier payments in line with terms

• Set up and maintain Supplier accounts

• Assist in Bank Reconciliation (Multi currency)

• Assist in month end closing

• Maintain and process Petty Cash, Credit Cards, Bank Cards, Employee Expenses

• Maintain Filing system ( invoices , statements) and documentation

• Resolve supplier, designer and internal queries promptly

• Ad Hoc reports and various administrative duties

Skills and Experience:

We are looking for a bright, friendly and proactive team-player with excellent communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with our Designers and Suppliers.

You should already have a relevant degree in Accounting or currently be studying for AAT, CIMA or ACCA. You should be interested in constantly upgrading your accountancy knowledge and take initiative to practice your knowledge by improving accountancy processes.

If you have already some work experience in a similar role and / or experience in using Sage 50 Accounts System this would be advantageous. You need a good knowledge of Excel, a strong understanding of accounting concepts and the ability to think logically with an eye for details.

You need the ability to work hard and accurately even under pressure. You will require strong organisationally skills to meet deadlines.

Skills and Experience:

• Responsible for the development and implementation of ideas and designs for the creative output of the site; both online and offline

• A clear understanding and experience working with digital media such as creative layouts, emails, online banners, digital marketing and branding initiatives

• Strong computer skills and proficient knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Final Cut

• Strong retouching skills on all forms of imagery when required

• Competent coding skills in HTML and CSS

• Video Creating, Editing and Presentation with use of final cut pro

We are looking for an enthusiastic & highly skilled individual to fill the role of Fashion Features Editor within our editorial team.

The role will report to the Creative & Editorial Director and will be integral to providing and managing the fashion features and written content for the Avenue 32 Magazine and all other creative written content. The ideal candidate would need to work well in a fast paced environment and have a strong background and comprehensive knowledge of fashion, fashion brands, runway trends as well as exceptionally strong writing and editing skills. The role also requires strong visual sensibilities.


• Generate editorial concepts liaising with the Creative & Editorial Director based on the requirements of other departments.

• Writing, editing and conceiving all editorial written content. Providing dynamic and enticing cover lines, headlines, sells and fashion stories to ensure maximum engagement.

• Managing & creating the editorial calendar. Seasonally as well as week on week.

• Lead ideas meetings with the writing & editorial team and develop editorial content that is both inspiring and meets the commercial requirements of the business.

• Liaise with external contacts and PR’s to secure interviews, acquire quotes when relevant.

• Managing, editing and developing the features assistant and any interns.

• Assist in checking all the weekly issues for errors and house style.

• Working closely with Creative & Editorial Director in order to ensure the tone meets brand requirements and reflects the imagery within the features.

Avenue 32 are looking for an enthusiastic & highly skilled individual to fill the role of Shoot and Production coordinator within our editorial team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented organizer with a creative mind-set to join a busy team as part of the companies creative division. The person will oversee the photo shoot production to ensure the editorial shoots meet schedule and aesthetic requirements.


• Organising, casting and booking of models for all editorial shoots.

• Developing a good relationship with the model agents at all times to ensure that we work with the most relevant models.

• Creating, developing and maintaining relationships with all external creatives such as freelance photographers, make up and hair artists as well as agencies

• Booking photographers, hair and make up artists

• Conceptualising and working on shoot sets

• Researching, sourcing and booking all locations for editorial shoots. Ensuring that you are consistently thinking ahead of new and interesting spaces that suit the brand aesthetic

• Liaising with the Visual Assistant on samples and stock deliveries according to the shoot schedule

• Manage shoot budget along side liaising with financial team to chase or provide invoices for external creatives or additional costing’s for editorial shoots

• Seasonal research for all shoot concepts for the season from model shoots, videos, animations to editorial stills. All to achieve creative initiatives to evolve the company’s visual aesthetics, whilst keeping to brand

• Management of the Avenue Studio, involving bookings, general upkeep and overseeing of studio calendar

• You will need to confidently brief the Creative & Editorial Director, Visual Assistant and any other necessary team members on concepts and the production of shoots. Along with preparing and communicating detailed production schedules, timing plans and costing estimations

• Your role will shadow, be responsible to and work in tandem with the Creative and Editorial Director on all creative shoots, but independently you will need to concentrate on keeping abreast of competitors, research, support, develop relationships and general organisation needed for the role

• You will need to confidently brief other teams on editorial shoots and creative assets where needed or in the absence of the Creative & Editorial Director

• Assisting the Features Writer and Editorial Team collating products & looks for articles, shopping pages and newsletters, as well as pulls for still shoots

• Seasonal report on trends every season, based on the catwalk and immediate emerging trends

Avenue 32 is looking for an Editorial Intern. This internship role will include helping our Fashion & Editorial Assistant to prepare for shoots, liaise with PR companies and efficiently complete pulls and returns. It will also include assisting the Editorial Team with the creation of content for our Social Media platforms, designer bio’s and fashion features along with general administrative duties. Applicants must be proactive, organized, detail-oriented, creative, professional, and have a positive attitude.

The successful candidates will need to have a strong interest in fashion or a fashion-related degree, have accomplished written English skills, and great organisational skills. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign would be beneficial and strong IT skills are essential. Above all, candidates need to be hardworking, enthusiastic and have a great eye for detail; they must be able to handle multiple tasks at once and work well under pressure.
